Earlier today I sparred 6 good solid rounds with Mick "Rocky" Katsidis. It was a great work out. This is the best sparring you can ask for, Mick is number one in the world and awaiting a world title fight, so if you make a mistake he will make you pay and that he did on a couple of occasions,but I felt it was a good hit out for both of us and very solid at times. I felt in good shape and could have did another 2 more rounds. Mick is a good guy, I have a lot of respect for him as a fighter and a person and I hope all of Australia get behind him when his chance comes to fight for a world title, and we don't see to much of the old Aussie tall poppy syndrome. Kenny Hamer, my sponsor from Pool Warehouse and Ace Boxing Promotions Angelo and Nathan Di Carlo were on hand watching the sparring session.
