spar with rocky
Earlier today I sparred 6 good solid rounds with Mick "Rocky" Katsidis. It was a great work out. This is the best sparring you can ask for, Mick is number one in the world and awaiting a world title fight, so if you make a mistake he will make you pay and that he did on a couple of occasions,but I felt it was a good hit out for both of us and very solid at times. I felt in good shape and could have did another 2 more rounds. Mick is a good guy, I have a lot of respect for him as a fighter and a person and I hope all of Australia get behind him when his chance comes to fight for a world title, and we don't see to much of the old Aussie tall poppy syndrome. Kenny Hamer, my sponsor from Pool Warehouse and Ace Boxing Promotions Angelo and Nathan Di Carlo were on hand watching the sparring session. Also new professional sensation Tyrone Tongia came out for a look along with my trainer Mark Wilson. A huge thanks to Mick and his trainer Brendan Smith for coming down.

Good to see things went well with rocky.I was disappointed not to be able to make it but look foward to seeing your next session.Good news with Kenmore Centre for health getting on board as one of your supporters.Steve Janz the owner is thrilled to be part of the group support for you and cant wait untill the 25th. yea greg, all went well with rocky. it was a great hit out that i'm sure you would have loved to see. huge thanks to yourself greg for what your doing for me and to steve janz and his family and everyone from his business ( kenmore centre for health), for getting behind me, it just gives me the will to win for everyone involved. lets hope he's a wizard hey :)
